Our mission is to enrich the Maasai Community through exemplary education, and develop a generation with active and creative minds, who have compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs.
The Shepherd’s Village has been the realization of a dream. The organization was founded with the idea of improving the well-being of the Maasai people through education.
Our educational programs emphasize the importance of health and economic sustainability, derived from the productive use of water. To fulfill our vision, our focus is on two projects; Operation Clean Water, and Village Organic Farms.
In March of 2012, our dream came to life and we became a federally recognized non-profit organization. Our organization is built on hope and the belief that people can make a difference if they are given an opportunity to live to their full potential.
